Sofia Bulgaria – Saturday Afternoon

Are you getting tired of reading yet??  Well just two more posts left and I will be done.. I think??  Hmmm maybe more!  LOL

After the visit to the orphanage, we decided it was time to play “tourist” for a couple of hours.  So Valentina took us downtown Sofia for a little lunch and a walk around.  I have noticed that people don’t just grab a quick bite anywhere (unless of course you are eating at McDonalds and even then it’s not all that quick sometimes –haha!)  I think we spent 1 1/2 hours of our time eating lunch.  Now don’t get me wrong, it was GREAT company AND it was wonderful food!  So all was fine! 

We walked around quite a bit… for a couple hours  I think.  I say, I think because little did I know, I was getting sick and I had the chills.  While I enjoyed our afternoon, I could have slept right through it!  THANKS to Heather and Bessie for filling me full of good medicine so I was back to myself by late that night!  I was feeling great by the time the conference started.

This was a tribute/memorial for the Tsunami Victims.  This is only a small part of what was in the trees!  They were pretty!

  

I wish I had been feeling a little better to get more pictures, but we did have fun and I have some great memories from that afternoon!!!
