A Premio Dardos blog award

untitled

Thanks to Gillian for shooting this blog award my way.  I appreciate it!!

“Premio Dardos means ‘prize darts’ in Italian.” This award acknowledges the values that every blogger shows in his or her effort to transmit cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values every day.

I’m not sure how much I ‘transmit’ here, but thanks all the same.

Here is how it works:

Step 1: Respond and rework — answer the questions on your own blog, replace one question that you dislike with a question of your own invention, add one more question of your own.

Step 2: Tag - eight other bloggers to do the same.

Here are the questions:

1) What are you wearing right now? Gray Lounge Pants and a John Deere T-shirt

2) What is your biggest fear? Right now, it is the adoption and that something is going to happen!!  I already can’t imagine my life without Jacob!!!

3) Do you nap a lot? Never, I try to lay down when the kids are napping, but it just doesn’t work.  Very rarely do I nap during the day.  Only usually when I am sick!

4) Who is the last person you hugged? Owen – he wanted Mommy when I came home from work today!  Not often that he wants to snuggle me!

5) What websites to you visit when you go online?  Reece’s Rainbow, MSN, Yahoo, Email and all the blogs that I follow!

6) What was the last item you bought? Red Envelope to send to President Barack Obama on March 31st, 2009

7) What’s the last book you read?  Sadly I can’t even remember.  I am not a book reader.

8 ) If you could go to the Oscars, who would you want to sit next to? Emily Proctor – I just love her and would like to hang out with her for a day!

9) Has a celebrity’s hair cut ever influenced your own hairstyle? I am sure.. actually Mariska Hargitay – I just love her short hair.

10) What is one skill you wish you had, but don’t: I would love to be able to sing!

11) What was the last movie you watched? Mrs. Doubtfire – This morning.  My kids just love it!

12) What is the luckiest thing that ever happened to you?  hmmm… I am not really that lucky however I did have three pretty awesome kids and about get get a 4th.  I have a wonderful husband as well, so that makes me pretty lucky!

13) If you had a whole day to yourself; no work, commitments or interruptions what would you do? Wow – I don’t think I have ever even thought that this would be an option.  LOL  I would probably sleep in a big, nice hot bath, then off for a pedicure since I have never had one then back home to enjoy my house and all the peace and quiet that comes along with it.  I would be in charge of the remote – the computer and I would go to bed early and sleep peacefully!!

14) Is there a major goal you have that you haven’t yet achieved? Not really – I would like to travel a little more, but that really isn’t a goal.

15) Where did you meet your spouse?  I met Joe at a wedding reception.  My cousin and he grew up together.

16) What is something that those in blogland might not know about you?  My mother was born and raised in France and my parents met when my father was in the military in France when they met.  They got married and moved back to the USA where they have lived for the last 52 years.

17)What States and Countries have you visited as an adult? States: Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, District of Columbia, Virginia, South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Utah, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Kansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, New Mexico, Nebraska, North Dakota, Arkansas, Indiana, West Virginia, Maryland and New York.  Countries: France, Germany, Iceland, Canada, Mexico, Belgium, Spain, and US

18) What do you do to relieve stress? Shower and Blog, but not at the same time! LOL

19) If you could change one physical trait about you what would it be? My legs…I just want them to be pretty!!
