This is Ruby & Max, a cartoon that is on Nick Jr in the wee hours of the morning and Katie, Josie and Owen just LOVE it. It is one of the most annoying cartoons that is on TV, but I deal!
My question today is : WHERE ARE THEIR PARENTS?? They seem to have unlimited money to buy groceries, live in a nice house and take the bus to see their grandmother. So I know they HAVE parents, but I am wondering where they are??
Are they workaholic’s or are they alcoholics and drunk in bed?? Just curious!!! Maybe I am just in need OF. MORE. COFFEE!!!!!

Its kind of sick that I've ABSOLUTELY sat on my couch at the crack of dawn with my kids wondering the EXACT same thing, LOL! My kids have been watching this show for years... there is the grandma, the bunnyscout leader and others in the community but you never see the mom or dad! Ruby talks about her mom sometimes, but she's the one that gives Max baths, puts him to bed and even does the dishes. What in the world?
Also, if you've ever seen Charlie and Lola (another favorite of my kids') you never see their parents either althought they do talk about them. WEIRD. :)
LOL.... maybe we are doing more damage to our children then we thought!
... oh, and don't forget bunnies are leaving the nest earlier than ever these days. ;)
I TOTALLY have pondered this SAME thing and this cartoon bugs the CRAP out of me! LOL
