My Firsts

So I hijacked this from my friend Renee !!  Hope you don’t mind – I thought it was interesting – Blast from the Past!!

1. Who was your FIRST prom date?
Lyle Staudt – I am pretty sure that I roped him into going with me because I was only a freshman and couldn’t go myself!  LOL  Sorry Lyle!!!

2. Do you still talk to your FIRST love?
As a matter of fact, I am friends with him AND his wife on FB

3. What was your FIRST alcoholic drink?
Some stupid concoction that we took to the movies.  Myself and Monica.  WOW – It was so bad, but we didn’t want each other to think we were wimps so we drank it.  Got sick and called my mom to come get us early!   Told her we had the flu!!

4. What was your FIRST job?
Teaching swimming lessons at the YMCA!!

5. What was your FIRST car?
A Gremlin – Yes I know – it was Periwinkle color and was the greatest car ever.  We had so much fun cruising in that car. 

6. Who was the FIRST person to text you today?
No one yet today, but it is still early!!

7. Who is the FIRST person you thought of this morning?  Joe because I wished he was here to help me take the kids to the dr!

8. Who was your FIRST grade teacher?  Sister Mary Magdeline – yes she was a strict as she sounds

9. Where was your FIRST ride on an airplane to?  It was to France when I was 5.  We flew to Iceland first, so that was pretty cool!

10. Who was your FIRST best friend & do you still talk?  ummm.. that would be Kim and we are still BEST FRIENDS!! 

11. Where was your FIRST sleep over?  The one I remember first was at Monica’s house for a birthday party.

12. Who was the FIRST person you talked to today?  That would be Katie telling her to go back to bed at 4:30 am!

13. Whose wedding were you in the FIRST time?  My Sister’s when I was 13,  It was the day after the first 7th grade dance in Junior High!  Left her rehearsal dinner early to go to the dance!

14. What was the FIRST thing you did this morning?  Changed diapers and got my coffee!

15. What was the FIRST concert you ever went to?  The Statler Brothers back when I was in grade school!  Went with my parents!  LOL

16. FIRST tattoo?  A cross on my chest the week after I turned 18

17. FIRST piercing?  Ears and that is ALL I will ever pierce.  I was 3 for the first two holes and in college when I got an extra hole in one ear!

18. FIRST foreign country you've gone to?  Iceland then to Luxembourg and France on the same trip!

19. FIRST movie you remember seeing?  Jaws at the theater… I was scared!!!!

20. When was your FIRST detention?  I don’t even remember.. probably in high school.. I was a good child!!!

22. Who was your FIRST roommate?  That would be Missy in College!  We lived together for 6 years ..  2 years after college!

23. What was the FIRST sport you were involved in? Swimming… I was on the swim team, taught swimming lessons and was a lifeguard

24. What were the FIRST lessons you ever took? Swimming lessons when I was 4 or 5 I think.

25. What is the FIRST thing you do when you get home? Hug the kids – OR should I say… they bombard me!

26. What was you FIRST cuss word or words?  Hmmm.. I don’t remember, but probably shit…  who knows.. I am sure it was something horrid that I said at a totally inappropriate time and my parents were horribly embarrassed.

27. FIRST time you went wrapping houses or egging? I never did that!  Sorry!

28. FIRST person to break your heart?  That would probably be my first love, mentioned above.  He broke up with me and at that time, it was the most devastating thing in the world!

29. FIRST CD you've ever bought?  I think it was Randy Travis..  when I was in college….. Remember how old I am and I got my first CD player when I was in college!!!

30. Where did you go/do for your FIRST date?  I am sure it would be my first prom.  Not too bad for a first date huh??
